Perhaps I'm missing something, but despite my scouring the DMC-40x0 User Manual, I can find nothing more than a brief mention of the ELO input.
Can anyone point me to some more information?

Hi Jeremy,
The electrical and general description of the ELO can be found in Chapter 3. The ELO is a hardware shutdown of the internal amplifier - if applicable. For more specific detail, the ELO is also mentioned in each internal drive section in the Appendix. Refer to your particular drive's section in the Appendix for the operating description. If you have additional questions, please give a call to Galil or sent an email to support@galil.com and ask for Andrew.
