Hello,
I'm having a galil drive whose configurations is: DMC4040(MO,ISCNTL)-C022(5V)-I000-D3740-SRH90.
I've been trying to run the DC motor whose parameters are given below:Continuos Current = 0.169A,
Peak Current = 0.701A, Pole pairs = 1, nominal Voltage = 24V, Encoder (Counts per turn) = 256
No Load Speed = 13600.
For the above mentioned motor parameters, I used the following parameters:
AG = 0;
AU = 2
TL = 0.169/0.8 = 0.21125
TK = 0.87625

And then Ive given a command BR 1,0,0,0
SHA
PRA = 100000
BGA

With these commands, the error LED on galil drive is blinking. Can you please let me know if Im doing anything wrong. Please correct me.
Thank You

Hi Teja,
Nothing jumps out at me, so I'd like to get more information regarding the hardware and mechanics. It would be much more efficient to set me an email. Please email me at andrews at galil dot com
I'd first like to get a description of the application? What are the motors controlling?
Do you have a data sheet with this motor that you are using?
Which Molex pins are you connected to on the amp? Are you able to see the motor spin when you issue these commands? If you zero the PIDs and use the OF command to set an open-loop torque signal, do you see the motor spin?
Are you able to communicate with the controller while the error light is blinking? What is your error limit set to?

Regards,
Andrew
