Using 12 μA analog differential encoders w/ a DMC-18x0 (DMC-1830)

Hi Brian,
The DMC-1700/1800 can accept an analog signal where the analog value represents an absolute position. This is setup with the AF command.

If you encoders are not that, then please let us know. The DMC-1700/1800 controllers are prior generation and aren't recommended for new applications. Please give a call or send an email to support@galil.com and ask for Andrew. I can help take a look at the encoder datasheet and help find the right controller.
