Hello,

I purchased Galilsuite the other week and I am new to all of this. Is there any other source of documentation for this software? I am trying to find out how to set the encoder resolutions for my brushed DC servo motors and all I can find is a setting for stepper motor encoders. If you can point me to more learning resources for this product, I would be very grateful.

Andre Barclay.

There are no engineering units built into the controller or software. Everything seen by the controller or software is in counts or steps. It is possible to write a subroutine to convert counts or steps into engineering units on the controller or have a function that does so in a host application. The getting started section of the manual and software manual are good resources for an introduction.
