Galil API for Matlab in Ubuntu

I would like to know if Galil provides API's or any other communication interface to use the controllers from Matlab in Ubuntu.

The application note (4424) "Programming MATLAB with Galil controllers" provides details on how to use the Galil controller with Matlab in a Windows environment. Is there any such note on Matlab interface in a linux based OS (specifically Ubuntu).

Hi Aditya,
The mentioned application note is in regards to a prior generation library, not supported on current operating systems.

Our current API library is gclib, which is a C library and is supported on Ubuntu. We don't have official support for Matlab using this library, but as it is a C library, you can still import it into Matlab.
