I am using single axis controller firmware DMC30010 Rev 1.2e.
I have program that measures 218 lines. If downloaded over serial interface all works normally. If i download over Ethernet I get the following warning
8060 COMPRESSION WARNING. Galil::programDownload() modified program to fit in 50 lines by 80 columns (check LS)
and program compresses to 30 lines. It happens on multiple controllers and in some cases #AUTO label does not start the program
Is it normal or I have some weird setup somewhere?

Programming space on the DMC-30010 is currently 1000 lines by 80 characters. However, the 80 character limit was implemented in firmware 1.2a in July 2013. If your download software (GalilTools, GalilSuite) has not been updated recently, you may be working with a version that does not recognize this change. I would recommend first upgrading to the latest software version, these can be downloaded here:

As to why you see the error only on Ethernet, I will need to run some tests on my end once I know what software you are using to communicate with the controller.
